Please chance for UF out of state

Rising senior
UF is high on my list because it is a strong academic school that is very affordable. I consider it my "financial safety." But i want to hear the opinions of others to see if it is an academic fit.

I really want to attend a school I know I will enjoy (particularly warm climate) and a school that has a strong study abroad program. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know!
I also have trouble with a choice of major, so I'll probably apply undeclared everywhere.

Please give me feedback! I hope I get in! I'll chance people back too.

please bump

bump again

Seems pretty solid. Though there is never a guarantee.

Aside from what you already said you are going to do (retake the SAT and such), jsut write a good essay.

Also, why would you say UF is “very affordable”? Wouldn’t you be paying out-of-state tuition?

gpowsang

bump 3rd time

dude, stop bumping lol. i already replied and pl will see ur thread

Dude, retake those SATS. Everytime I did, my scores went up. I studied a bit more, and you can get books from the library or a bookstore. Amazon has some deals too. Your subject test scores are pretty low if you want to be a merit scholarship student or such. Take the subject test in us history for example because you want to take them in your best subject, and math 1 or 2 for a requirement at some schools you apply to, but only if it’s a requirement at colleges you’re interested in. If you want better scores for the regular SATS, get the book “10 real SATS”. There are also SAT prep workshops that I hear work. Kind of pricey but potentially worth it.

GREAT GRADES :D

I am applying to university of florida too, and so I may even see you there!

Good luck!
