<p>Hey guys, thanks for viewing this thread. I'm asking you guys of the favor to chance me with your knowledge of my likeliness of getting into Emory University in Atlanta Georgia, hopefully for a premed major.</p>

<p>I'm currently a junior, but its never too late to look into the future!</p>

<p>Here are my stats:</p>

<p>10th grade average weighted GPA: 4.0
10th grade average non-weighted GPA: 3.5</p>

<p>11th grade average weighted GPA: 4.3
11th grade average non weighted GPA: 4.0</p>

<p>12th grade weighted average(Prediction): 4.3
12th grade average non weighted(Prediction):4.0</p>

<p>High School Rank: Number one public district in California. Top division school.</p>

<p>SAT's: 2020</p>

<p>ACT:31</p>

<p>Sports:
~Varsity Golf for 2 years
~ Club Badminton for 4 years</p>

<p>School Dedication:
~President/Founder of "Writers to the World" Club. </p>

<p>Music:
~2 years of school band,
~certificate of merit for piano</p>

<p>Leadership:
~Eagle Scout
~Scoutmaster for a troop of 60 people
~President of club at school</p>

<p>Volunteering:
~4 years volunteering at a hospital. 300+ cumulative hours.</p>

<p>~Led a Community service project for local school that totaled 350+ Hours.</p>

<p>Residency:
~I live in California, but my mother lives in Atlanta Georgia, so I suppose I could use her address if it would help me.</p>

<p>Recommendations:
~I'll have good ones, along with a stellar essay.</p>

I'm a bit worried about my standardized test scores though....and my unweighted GPA. I'm hoping my eagle scout rank helps me cover a bit for that along with my volunteer hours.Does anyone know how Emory calculates their GPA too?

<p>I cant give you a solid percentage, though I can say that you have a pretty good chance.
Everything looks like an average Emory Student except for your SATs…just a tad bit lower than the median.
Looking at your extracurriculars, they look good
With a killer essay and recommendations</p>

<p>do ED1 and you will probably have 60% in if you show a lot of interest. it’ll help you more if you are from CA than from GA because emory wants “diversity”. the 31 is okayish if you do ED1 as long as you have good essays and good gpa.</p>
