<p>Hi</p>

<p>I recently applied to Boston University and UCSB for Fall 2014. I'm a little stressed so I would greatly appreciate any feedback on whether you feel I have a chance or not at getting accepted into anyone of these colleges. Also, any suggestions on other colleges I could apply to or anything would be appreciated.</p>

<p>Current GPA: 3.2
Expected GPA: at least a 3.4
Major: Finance and/or Journalism

Community Outreach- Director of Youth Outreach for a non profit providing academic enrichment services to college bound youth in the South Los Angeles community. </p>

<p>Faith-based Service- Leadership role in a church youth ministry. I spearheaded a bible study for youth and as a group we engaged our community through various service projects and events.</p>

<p>the Arts (vocal performance)- 12 years of experience in performing in several choirs. Lead singer in a band.</p>

<p>Interest related clubs- Philosophy Club and Pre Law Society</p>

<p>Also, the fact that I'm an African American male from a middle class background may put things into perspective.</p>

<p>Yeah, my current college GPA is 3.2. After I retake a math course over Winter break my GPA should be back at a 3.4.</p>
