Background: White, male, living in NYC- my HS is a large school with over 3500 students (very diverse)
Immigrated to U.S. ~5 years ago from Uzbekistan. In terms of responsibility I had to translate pretty much everything for my parents as they do not speak much English so since Junior High I had to help my parents in any way I could (Ex: in 7th grade I had to go with my dad to the DMV so I would translate for him, In 7-10 grades I would do most of the bills and mail for my family as I was the only one who knew how to speak the language).

Schools I am considering:
Supper Reach: MIT, Cornell (I know its a very large stretch but I still want to try)
Other: UPenn, UCSD, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Boston University, City College of New York.
Please suggest any other engineering schools you can thank you :)
