University of michigan- dream school
So I finished my application completely today. (Yes I know) it's because I forgot to apply, they emailed me asking me not to forgot to apply. Knowing this I know it's a 99% rejection );. but I still want some opinions. Not even Obama's letter will save me. Thank you. </p>

NSHSS- National society of high school scholars-member inducted sophomore year completed 290 community service hours
National Academy of future physicians and medical scientist chosen to represent high school in the meeting in Washington for future physicians and given an award and certificate.</p>

<p>Presidents volunteer service program completed 135.59 service hours. Received a letter from president Obama thanking me for my work and a certificate and a medal.</p>

<p>National Art honor society NAHS- Art related projects.
National forensics league NFL- debate in different completions and speeches inducted 3rd place in novice Lincoln Douglass debate second time debating
Students Achieving volunteer excellence SAVE 290 community service hours
HOSA- volunteered in retirement home and at head start program in school
Aquatics Club
EFC=$4,789</p>

<p>Accepted to Texas A&M university(2,000), SMU, TCU, BAYLOR (34,00) University of Iowa (60,000) Penn state University. Waiting on University of Texas at Austin (probably denial) brother goes here. Ohio state university </p>

<p>You know that a 3.57 GPA / 25 ACT statistically has a very, very low chance of being accepted. It would be low if you had a 3.57 / 33 or 3.91 / 25. </p>

<p>If you truly mean that you just finished your application, I would have to say you will not be accepted because you won’t be considered. </p>

<p>Michigan will be a reach and your EFC will definitely not be $6000 if your parents make around $50~$60k. Expect to pay half tuition.</p>

<p>Don’t worry about the tuition. Your admission chance is very very low. Note the admission average GPA is 3.85 and mid 50 ACT is 29-33.</p>

<p>Your EFC is practically irrelevant as an OSS student, since Michigan only meets need for in-state students. Expect to pay 25k+, if accepted. Your chances are not great given your stats and the fact you applied so late into the cycle. Best of luck to you! I hope you have other options you will be happy with.</p>
