Please chance me for brown ED and PLME?

I’m an Asian Indian female who lives in MA
Class Rank: I know I’m in the top 5% at least
SAT: 1510 (but I’m planning on retaking this)
Subject tests: bio- 760, I’m taking chem and math ii this august
AP courses: bio, lang, euro, spanish, bc calc, chem, lit, physics
I have all As except for one B+ my freshman year in geometry, and I have pretty much taken the most academically rigorous courses my HS offers (we can’t take APs until our junior year tho)

ECs:
Kathak (Indian classical dance)- I’m part of a competitive performance ensemble that performs all over New England and we perform in professional shows; I’ve also won many competitions
Currently studying to get my degree in North Indian classical singing (I have my diploma currently)
I spent two summers working at a biotech company as an animal technician + I had to opportunity to do some lab work
I’m in dance team at my school where I choreographed and taught ballet-kathak fusion pieces + I introduced kathak dance into the choreo
other typical stuff: piano, tutoring kids, worked at kumon, shadowing at doctor’s office, hospital + soup kitchen volunteering hours (around 400), math + sci team, sci olympiad, I went to DECA states
I know that my common app essay is really good + i’m sure that my recs will be great too (my teachers and my counselor love me)
I’m worried that I don’t have many leadership roles (although in my dance performance ensemble we do have to assist with teaching other dance classes) and that my test scores aren’t amazing bc I’m not a great test taker

Brown is always a reach.

Yup of course, I just wanted to know if I have a decent chance of getting in/if I should even apply?

I think you’d be competitive for Brown, definitely! PLME, that’s a reach for any and every one at this point. I could go on and on about the number of kids with extensive lab experience, published papers, recruited athletes who were also outstanding scholars, Sieman’s semifinalists, who weren’t accepted to PLME (although I did hear of a finalist who was accepted…). I could be mistaken, but I believe they took 99 last year. I personally don’t think the difference between a 1510 and a 1600 will matter on the SAT. Could you spend the SAT time doing research and produce a paper that is “currently submitted for publication”? Best of luck to you!

thanks Thetwins, that’s a good idea! and really, my guidance counselor keeps telling me to retake my SAT
