<p>I was born in El Paso but my parents moved "back" to Taiwan when I was only 29 days old. </p>

<p>I am currently applying from an International school in Taiwan as U.S citizen (out of state student). </p>

<p>30-40% is really low. It’s a guaranteed no for business, and you would have to have some outstanding essays/extenuating circumstances for liberal arts or the other schools.</p>

<p>It is hard to say how UT will use rank from an International School.</p>

<p>How about my GPA and SAT are they okay for liberal arts?</p>

<p>the average SAT score for UT Austin last year was 1225. I am 25 points higher(1250), however it does not affect mean much I guess.</p>

<p>I will retake the SAT 1 again in the December. If I do better in the December, will the the admission officers consider my new score? The deadline is 12/15. </p>
