<p>MIT, Stanford, and CalTech look like low/mid reaches – depending on your essays, you could get into all three or none. Cornell and Columbia trail are high matches. UCB and UCLA are matches, and you’re pretty safe for UIUC and GTech. Your application is very solid, but not quite at the caliber where you can be relaxed about your essays. Best of luck!</p>

<p>On the reach schools you’re a solid candidate, but it comes down to how they interpret you as a person. It’s kind of a crap-shoot. Don’t try too hard to influence it one way or another, I tried to do that with Harvard and in retrospect it would have been the wrong school for me (at MIT now, they like a very different kind of student than a lot of high-end schools so they’ll probably swing funny). No way to tell on high-end schools with just stats.</p>
