What do you guys think?

Your test scores are great, your gpa is a bit low (what's your weighted gpa?). And in honesty, your ec's don't impress. If your essays are amazing, you should have decent chances (for EDII), but unfortunately your ec's are your biggest weakness. If you had more and more significant ec's, your chances would have increased greatly. But still, you should apply because you still have some chances.

Good luck!

if u apply ur in

Are my EC's really that weak? I had some other stuff, like a students for Obama chapter and over 200 hours (some were earned overseas) along with 2 internships at financial firms over the summer if that makes them a bit better.

I'm guessing you want to go to Goizueta? If so, the finance internship is great. The new ec's mentioned are definitely important and better than your original ones, at least in my opinion. Now that I know you have good ec's I think u have great chances for EDII.

hey i'm in IB too and i think that the difficulty of our courses counts for a lot more than people think. i have the same u/w gpa and everyone is telling me it's low but admissions knows how hard we've had to work for the ib diploma. you have leadership and athletics as well as challenging academics and CAS. i'd say you're a good candidate for edii.
