Please chance me for Georgia Tech, UIUC, U of T Austin engineering

I'm a 21 year old international

4.13 / 5.00 UW GPA

CR760 WR690 M790

SAT2 MATH2C 770 Chem 760 Phys 720

Ap microecon5 calcbc5/5 chem4 physB4 physc:mech 4 physc:E&M2 -wasn't prepared :(

No particular EC's except I was basketball captain for a noncompetitive team.

My high school is pretty prestigious and sends a bunch of kids to Ivies every year if that helps me at all.

What are my chances for Georgia Tech, UIUC, U of T AUstin all of them for EE/CE/CS?

Thanks for your time.

And for anyone thinking this is a ■■■■ post because of my nickname, the word nerd has a positive connotation in this case so please don’t think I’m trolling or anything

Nobody cares about the name; take a look at mine. You realize that you posted on a Saturday night (US time) so not many people will even see this now, right? Anyway, stuff looks decent, but you have literally zero ECs, and something that I noticed is that you are 21 years old. I am just curious. Why were you in high school for so long? Also, you high school sending kids to ivies is almost meaningless. Disregard your school stats.

Overall, you need pretty much a perfect GPA and perfect test scores to make up for your complete lack of ECs. One basketball position for a noncompetitive team is really really insignificant. Not trying to bring you down, but just showing you the reality. If you could, I would suggest doing something drastic to join a few clubs, or any ECs before you submit your application so that you can at least write a few more things in the EC category.

Also, could you please chance me? Thanks!

I’d love to chance you but tbh I really don’t have much knowledge about US college applications. As for the age, I attended college for a econ/finance degree but dropped out

bump
