Please chance me for Smith College ;)

Hey everyone, I have a similar thread how ever that was for Mount Holyoke. After thorough search, I have made a decision that I would apply ED2 to Smith college. I am not sure as to how to delete the Mount Holyoke thread. Can someone please chance me for Smith College (Class of 2025)

Please be honest, much appreciated!

I will be applying ED2 to Smith College

Stats: Weighted GPA: 87.3 (3.2) (I had a part time job in high school but after I left that
job my gpa kept increasing)
I will be going test optional
I took a total of 4 aps, 1 science , 2 maths, and 1 in the ELA department but all my
other classes were gifted classes. Gifted classes do not offer a curve at my school
So far, I took 3 classes at a local community college which I did get college credit for (Personal Finance-A, Macroeconomics-A, Business FUndamentals-A)

Intended Major: Economics (with a minor in mathematics)

Extracurriculars: - Assistant coach for girls basketball team

  • Founder of a club dedicated to eliminating scarcity of women in the
    economic/business fields
  • Active seller on Poshmark/Mercari (online shopping websites)
  • 9 month internship with a program that trains me for a job on Wall
    Street
  • Accepted to a program with Morgan Stanley that introduces high school minorities to
    finance
  • Founder of a club that gives out skincare advice and routines to people
affected by acne or other skin disorders
  • Participated in a program in which I tutored 7th graders for a total of 8
    months
  • NYC ambassador for “LetHerLearn”

Awards- A $1,500 in scholarship awards

Background: -
My parents are from India but I was born here

  • middle class
  • Will be the first person to attend college in both of my parents families
  • I go to a competitive NYC high school
  • Was okay with the number I was presented with on Smith’s net tuition calculator
  • I speak 4 languages, including English

I’m applying for the class of 2025, so can only talk about what I’ve read and heard, but my interviewer said that although the application is holistic, GPA has a heavy weighting. More than 80% of enrolled students had a GPA of 3.75+ last year (https://www.smith.edu/sites/default/files/media/Smith%20College_Common%20Data%20Set%202019-2020_Complete%20%28updated%20with%2020-21%20tuiton.pdf), so Smith might be unlikely?

But the rest of your app looks very strong!

Is there a thread for prospective Smith College '25 students?
