Colleges:
UC Los Angeles
UC Berkeley
UC Santa Barbara (Safety)
USC
University of Michigan (Early Action)
Emory
Vanderbilt
Northwestern (Legacy)
Duke
Stanford (First choice)
Harvard (Lots of legacy) (Early Action)
Penn
Washington University in St. Louis

Thanks!

Probably in at UCLA, Berkeley, Santa Barbara, USC, and U Mich. I’d say you have pretty low chances at Penn, Duke, and Stanford simply due to quality of ECs/scores. You have a decent shot at Harvard since they LOVE legacy there (acceptance rate for legacies is like 50%). Can’t really say for the rest.

Good shot at UCLA, Berk, UCSB definitely haha, USC, UMich, Northwestern, and a pretty good chance @ Harvard b/c of your legacy, low reach for Emory and Vanderbilt, but based on your scores & math courses I’d say WashU@SL, Penn, Stanford, and Duke are going to be high reaches.

I agree, Stanford, Harvard, penn, and duke are high reaches

I’d say I agree with the above posters.

Pretty sure that you will get into UCLA, UCSD, USC, UCB, however, stanford might be a little hard since they look for compelling students (this means that the student has a clear pattern of extracurriculars that shows passion in the intended major). Otherwise, I you have a shot at the IVY leagues :)

I think you made a mistake taking the most rigorous courses in senior year (7/8 AP courses including 2 science and Calc), but only two AP( lit and history) in Junior year. This makes it look like you were trying to protect your gpa and adcoms do not like this. So, I hope it works out. Your standardized test scores and gpa are good enough, but evidence of rigor in junior year seems to be lacking.

Perazziman, I completely agree but at my school it is very difficult to take AP classes until you have finished taking non-AP’s in that subject.

Bump please!

Bumppppppp

You are taking AP Calc BC & AB…why?
I’d say you have a good chance at all of these schools, especially with legacy.
Your stats are strong, and your EC’s are as well. You’ve done your bidding in terms of coursework. If it is hard to get AP classes, list that somewhere on your application if you can.
write a fantastic personal statement, and you shouldn’t have a problem with most of these schools.
chance back please.
