That’s all the stats I can think of. Tufts/Vassar are currently my top schools. What do you think are my chances of getting into Tufts?
I would say if you applied ED, you have a good chance (a little greater than 50-50). RD is a reach for everyone and it will be difficult when you are compared to the greater, more competitive applicant pool. I would say you have good ECs, not very good because I can’t really see them focused toward a specific area of study and when presented in committee, they may come off as “scattered”.
Your story is intriguing and perhaps you could mention it somewhere in your essays (I wouldn’t write an entire essay about it but mention it briefly in an essay or ask one of your teachers to write it in one of your recommendations). Other than that, I would say try to list focused extracurriculars towards your major and the ones you think reflect your accomplishments and you most. Additionally, ofc write good supplements, they are the decider between an admit and deny at Tufts. Other than that, your grades are decent and a 33 or 34 will help a little, but not much.
