Please Chance Me for UMich

Any chance anyone can predict whether I have any chance of being accepted into the Engineering program at the University of Michigan? I applied for Early Action.

Once again, thanks for your help! This is my first time doing a chance-me post, so let me know if I’m missing something.

Looks good being instate. My only critique is no Physics C or AP BC. AP stats is weak for an engineering student. The most Aps don’t matter but the correct ones do. Challenging yourself is great. If your following a math sequence then that’s fine but if you had a choice of ABvs BC this is what they will compare you to, to others in your area /school. Good Luck.

Thanks! My school only offers normal calculus, which is why I attempted to self-study Calculus AB. I’m actually ahead of the rest of my grade level in math, which I would assume is a plus. Thanks for taking the time to review my info.

Going beyond then is helpful. That essay will have more bearing on it this year. Your Sat is good for an instate student. As you know with Michigan… Always have a safety… They do look at senior grades if your deferred, which many are, so don’t let up.
