Please chance me for West Point

I want to know if it's worth pursuing at this point with my stats. Thanks for the input.

Senior this year

Grades/Tests

3.5 GPA (My school has a wonky way of calculating - sort of weighted but on a 4.0 scale)

IB Diploma Candidate

School does not do class rank

32 ACT (36 English, 35 Reading, 27 Math, 29 Science)

210 PSAT (I mention this because I'm up for Nation Merit Semifinalist slot)

EC's

National Honor Society

Eagle Scout, Senior Patrol Leader, Philmont Crew Leader

Debate (1st place speaker award)

Forensics ( 13th extemporaneous speaker in state)

Youth in Government @ State Capitol (Won Speaking Award)

Key Club

I've gotten a few C's, mostly B's, but all my classes are IB/AP and I'll be taking the tests. I know I'm entering the school's admissions process later than advised, but I've got a two or three months to get nominations/recommendations. If I thought I had a shot I'd really push hard (probably will anyway)

Who are you getting your recommendation from?

I’m in the process of applying for nominations from state senators and representative. As for actual recommendations, I’m still trying to figure that out - school hasn’t started yet.

Definitely you have a shot. My son got in with similar stats. Eagle Scout will help. The one thing you didn’t list was athletics–that’s big. It’s also not too late to start on this. My son didn’t get things rolling on his application until October of his senior year. But don’t wait that long, because in addition to the application you will have to take the Candidate Fitness Assessment and get medically cleared. You might want to check out www.serviceacademyforms.com Spend some time looking through the threads and you will probably find a lot of answers to your questions.
