Please chance me! I'll chance back (NYU, USC, WUSTL, GTech, BU, Northeastern, etc) Major CompSci!!!

I’ve been reading through a lot of the forums on college confidential and I’m astounded by the depth of knowledge these forums possess. Since that’s the case, I’d like to know if I stand a good chance for the colleges I’ve applied to.

For all of the colleges that I’ve listed, I’d like to also mention I am applying for their computer science programs. What I’d also like to know besides my chances of getting in is also the chance of me obtaining full tuition or full ride to any of these institutions.

Here are my stats:

How is your GPA trend? It means more than a 3.7 Unweighted alone. You have a really great SAT score, and very decent ECs. I don’t think any of your schools require SAT 2s, not sure if any of them “recommends” them. Considering everything, here are my thoughts.

Boston University low match
Johns Hopkins University mid-reach
New York University match
Northeastern University low match
SUNY Stonybrook University (The Honors College/University Scholars Program) safety/you will have a very good shot at honors
University of Southern California reach

Your only real damper is your GPA. Extracurriculars and test scores are spot on and within reach of what the schools want. I’d say you have a great chance at many of those schools if your letters of rec. and essays are as good as you evaluated them to be!

Boston U: Low Match
Georgia Tech: Low Match
JHU: Mid Reach
NYU: Match
USC: Low Reach
WUSTL: Mid Reach

Best of luck!

Chance Back Please
