I got Gold medals from school for being highest in those respective subjects.

The biotech company was in 11th grade i went to their labs and did some gene expression and similar stuff. But this was way back when i was interested in biotech and i m not sure if it would be most relevant now. I had the letter of recommendation so i thought i might as well submit it. The second company was more relevant being more related to the course im applying to( mechanical engineering).

This c++ course was kind of like this introductory course which was basically about the basic functions, programming structure and conditional loops. i also wrote this program at the end of the 56 hour course.

Im kina trying to decide on the colleges.
I sent my early to Umich (ann arbor) and Stanford

Violator, what do you hope to gain from this chance me thread?
Only you can be best judge of your chances.

When you are done completing your applications you will know how you feel about your chances. I feel that application process is a process of self discovery. If college essay questions get you excited and bring out the best in you then you have a good chance.

If you find yourself merely glorifying your achievements then you are in trouble.

This is how I feel about college application.

There will be many kids with stats similar to yours applying to those schools. So, it will come down to how you project yourself in your essays.

Yea i noe its also essays n all that make a difference but im kind of confused wether i shouldd take sat again or not?
Thats all i need to know so please do tell!!

Violator, no one here can tell you if your SAT scores are good enough for all those schools.

Have you looked at acceptance ranges for the schools in your list?

I don’t remember the #s. My wild guess is that you are at the bottom 25% for MIT, Princeton & CalTech, middle 50% for Brown, UPenn and Columbia and top 25% for the rest. You are better off finding this info yourself. Someone like you should be able to dig out this info in no time.

So, if I were you, I would try to improve CR score and get into top 25% range for all the schools I am interested in.

Again, I really doubt anyone here on CC would tell you that you won’t get in at any of those schools based on your scores.

If you knew enough to “chance” other people, you would be able to chance yourself. A list of ECs and numbers does not convey passion, which you would show through your essay. These threads are ridiculous.
