<p>Hey guys! Im an undergraduate prospect student and im DYING to know my chances, ive been told im fine but i cant sleep at night because ucla is my number 1!!!</p>

<p>Lucky, that’s my school weighted gpa! My uc gpa is somewhere around 4.25 or something :slight_smile: thank you guys so much, I’m honestly so nervous!</p>

<p>if you dont get it in, it was a numbers (capactiy) thing and not a qualification issue. they cant take EVERYONE that is qualified. all the best.</p>

<p>ahh i also forgot ive been a defense attorney on mock trial for 2 yers and we went to state last year! but i know thank you, i feel like this is the one school i should appeal to if i can.</p>

<p>Taking Physics C junior year, then Physics B junior year? Also, you didn’t take calculus junior year nor did you take it before then, so it’s highly unlikely you took Physics C that year.</p>

<p>Clubs and activities look like generic resume spam, and you really shouldn’t have time for this many leadership positions.</p>

<p>In the case that this isn’t BS, you have a fairly good chance of getting in. Don’t sweat it.</p>

My physics teacher has a 30 percent higher pass rate when doing physics C first so yes I took it…it doesn’t take a genius to learn integrals and derivatives before the class. And I am in all those positions, I can’t lie on my app for financial aid purposes so this is honestly it! I guess I know how to balance my time but I’m not lying haha :-)</p>

<p>Thanks guys. Youre all really helpful I’m just nervous my EC’s won’t overshadow my low CR score on the SAT and my 2 Bs! Do you think that’ll hurt me if my act is a 33?</p>

<p>The UC website states that a score below a three will not negatively impact an application, and so a score of three or above will not make the OP look bad, according to the UC’s stated process.</p>

<p>The AP tests aren’t the end-all for performance; their often-poor phrasing could be as much a problem as a lack of knowledge. I personally believe that the AP Physics C tests in particular are rather poorly designed, as they test only a small portion of mechanics and E&M, and a better test would be the material covered by Physics B at the Physics C “level.”</p>

<p>OP don’t be so worried, your stats look fantastic, I would be surprised if you DIDN’T get in. I read on another thread that the freshman will hear back next Friday (the 23rd). This was from a person who was out of state and attended some reception, so take that date with a grain of salt. But seriously, everything looks good, good luck (though it looks like you won’t need luck) =]</p>
