-Bad freshman year, but got myself together and managed an unweighted GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0 (Weighted 4.2 out of 6.0). it's alright you can laugh
-Taking the most difficult classes I can (all AP and IB) and have been since freshman year; right now getting mid-high B's and varied A's
-Keeping myself occupied in the summer by taking academic courses and doing well in them
-Lots of extra-curricular activities, leadership roles, and service hours
-Lived in Greece for a few years; fluent in Greek
-Proficient in mathematics and foreign languages (taking Arabic in school)
-30 ACT the first time; took it again and I feel I did better</p>

<p>I’d say you don’t have too great of a shot to be honest. Chicago in particular is one of if not the best undergrad math school in the nation, and is extremely selective.</p>
<p>I think your diversity is a huuge plus, but other than that the actual credentials aren’t up to parr. Don’t know too much about Northwestern but I believe that would be more of a match.</p>
