Thanks

bump, sorry

hey uhmmm lets see…u have a LOT OF B’s so that is going to impact your admissions by a LOTTTT! 0ver 1000 of community service is impressive but i dont see a fiery passion about anything?

also 5 ap’s is excellent but the B’s might just kill ur admissions, but dont worry you might always get in :]

The Bs will hurt your chances, sure. But, the thing i think that will hurt the most is your lack of initiative/doing what you love/“passion.” Your SATs are great, your grades could be better, your course riggor seems good (depending on what your school offers), but you are lacking something. MIT’s website has a quote, which goes something along the lines of this [First, we make sure the applicant is qualified for admission to MIT (most are), but then we look for compelling reasons to admit him/her…]. That’s paraphrased, of course, but the general idea is that you are missing initiative. Don’t try to fake a passion, but do what you love. For instance, mine is music. I created and led a jazz ensemble that raised money and awareness for providing clean water to the impoverished in Africa. Long story short, do what you love and love what you do.
