Please chance my ED and EA, will chance back!

Thanks guys:) I’ve chanced back.

Geez, you’re awesome. Columbia I’d say you are in, but they do take poli sci into account, maybe want to change your prospective major  Uchicago is tougher but I’d say you have good chances, best of luck!

thanks missouriboy! I’d always thought Columbia was harder to get in than Uchi? And for my major, although it is poli sci, the my essays and APs are all very focused on comparative politics, especially on European politics, and I think more people are applying for U.S. politics.

So you already know that it’s hard for anybody to get in to these super competitive colleges. That being said, I think you have an extremely above average chance of getting in to Columbia or Uchicago so now just wait but good luck!!

Very impressive! Those are very difficult schools, but you’ve definitely got a shot.

All I can say is that you are not lacking in any aspect. So both are reaches

I think you’ll get into both! You’re a strong applicant and have a unique background. Good luck!

Well, you should know that both these two schools are reach for everyone. However, I think your academic achievement and test scores are very impressive!
Chance back?

Thank you guys, I’ve all chanced back!

Wait about a month?

finger crossed :)

I’d give you a 50% chance for each (which is actually really good for these schools!) I’d be surprised if you didn’t get into one of them. Good luck!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1577771-i-will-chance-back-chance-me-top-tier-schools.html</a></p>

I agree with the above posters in that Columbia and UChicago are reaches for EVERYONE, even valedictorians, national spelling bee champs, federal interns and the like. However, you stand a pretty good chance as a competitive (key word here) candidate. Good luck!

Also, would you mind chancing me back?

Thank you for your comments! I have chanced back :)

Obviously there is fierce competition at both of these schools, but you are a really impressive applicant (can I just quick steal your stats? Haha). I’d say you have a good chance, but there is really nothing that can guarantee that you’re in, so good luck in the admissions process! Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1577924-chances-northwestern-university.html</a></p>

I think you would get into UChicago for sure, and Columbia would have a problem rejecting you and at the very worst you would probably be deferred. Good luck!!

thnx:) columbia is my first choice

I think you do have a pretty good chance: your SAT is definitely in range. I feel like some of your extracurriculars might be a little exaggerated though, like for example counting being in a band with friends an extracurricular.
Both would be low reach/reach

Thanks for the comments! So forming a rock band that is not supported by the school and making two albums does not count as an extracurricular?

bump it up
