hello , i'm an internationalstudent and i plan to apply for US. universityies this fall ... my sat 1 score is 2350 and sat subject test scores are 800/800/800 (math1&2/physics) and my IBT(toefl) score is 115 out of 120 and i also have delf(a1/a2/b1/b2) french proficiency tests which make me eligible for immigration to canada or france but the problem is i studied in the best school of my country which had different education system from other schools in the country and our exams were much harder than others so my grades are not really good ,i got 18.5 out of 20 and i don't know what my gpa would be in US. school system ... but the question is, i plan to apply for ivy leagues universities such as Harvard ,do you think i have a good or strong chance ??? i also have extra curricular activities such as internship in one of biggest private insurance company in my country and i've been teaching english for a year in best english language institue in country ...

Dude you must be kidding, look at your scores, i mean all look so good that a university can come n grab you ^^ First of all, I would advice you to get you scores evaluated according to the US education system, so that you know what are your chances (https://www.wes.org/), check the website and get your course & credits evaluated. Ivy leagues are tough to get in not impossible, keep mailing all the ivy league schools and try your luck. I have kept it simple to core ^^ hope this helps

numerically you’re great, but admissions are not driven by numbers only. as an international your chance is lower than a comparable us applicant. if other parts of your application is great, you should apply. that’s the only sure way to determine your chances.

I would say if you can get a good letter of recommendation and some neat activities on you common app, you would definitely be in at Cornell. You look like the typical international student Cornell would go after. I would “HIGHLY” recommend you give Cornell University a shot since they have a great track record for accepting many transfer students comparing to other ivies. GOOD LUCK! :)

Make sure you can afford a US education as well. Some schools are not as generous with financial aid to international students, or do not make it available at all.
