When they say internship, what does that entail? Any internship? Any medically-related internship? Do high school internships count (e.g., NIH)?

What about Howard Hughes fellowships? What % of applicants received one at JHU?

10.62% of respondents did 4 or more internships!!! What was the highest number of internships a person did? 7?!?!

I assume they do one each summer. assuming this: 1 in junior year HS, 1 in senior year HS, 1 in senior summer, 1 during freshman JHU summer, 1 in JHU sophomore summer, 1 in JHU junior summer, 1 in JHU senior summer.

Will doing so many (more than 3) internships help a lot for JHU med school admissions or will they think you're a bit crazy?

Don't over-analyze the data my friend. They are just numbers - try not to draw 1,000 conclusions from it. Your best bet is probably to step away from the numbers at this point (you know Hopkins kids do VERY well once they leave in all facets) and see if the school is a great place for you - if you like the atmosphere, the students and faculty.
