I'm a senior this year with 8 AP/IB exams (6 left), and I have practically zero motivation. You see, I'm not getting any credit for any of my exams, regardless of my scores, but they've already been paid for by my state. A part of me thinks I should study just on principle. The lazier, senioritis-infected side of me just doesn't...care.

Thoughts? Reasons to study?

I’m even worse
I have 4 AP tests and 3 community college finals. If i mess up that GPA, thats my college GPA. I have two 88’s. I need to bring it up, but i cant bring myself to study. If I fail the AP test, i have to take a lot of stupid classes, and I paid for them.
Despite the fact that i’ve locked myself in my room (pretty much for the last 2 weeks, including spring break!), I’m having such a hard time…

you got into yale dude. ****

^Is that supposed to motivate me? o.O I don’t really think college has much to do with this.

I dont see why you should study for the AP’s
Just…chillax. if you know the stuff you’ll do well. If not you’ll fail, and nothing bad will happen.

Don’t waste your time studying.

What state do you live in??

We have to pay the full 90 bucks for every single test :(

I see it this way.

I’m taking the Biology AP tomorrow, and am only studying for 1 hour or so. I am expecting to receive a 3. But, for me, the whole test is irrelevant. I have no interest in Biology as a major, I have maintained a good grade in the actual class, and I don’t really care if I miss the chance to gain a few college credits.

If I get a 3 or below, then fine, I don’t send colleges the score, no harm done.

Similar situation, I don’t care anymore lol, but I did cram AP bio this weekend, and it’s actually pretty easy even though I slacked of my entire senior year
