I live in Massachusetts and would honestly like to just attend colleges around here/New England area. I want to major in Marketing and/or Psych. Here are my stats:
- I've been attending community college/unis for 3 years. I believe I have accumulated 20 or so credits (maybe more?)
- Last school I attended I had a 3.4 GPA. I only took 2 courses and was having some chronic/mental health issues.
- I have done OK at these schools. I received 3 Cs in total (2 theatre classes at the community college and a C in Intro to Communications).
- As I said before, I know this isn't a legitimate excuse but I was going through some horrible mental health issues and, for the past two years, chronic physical health issues. I was average in high school, but didn't participate in any clubs/sports/other activities (also due to health problems). I never took any AP courses, and the two honors courses I took I received Cs in.
- SAT= 1810:
- English= 670 -Writing= 600
- Math = 540
- ACT= 25(took it in 2011): -English = 30 -Math = 17 (yes I know, I'm terrible at math) -Science = 22
- Reading = 30
- I have good references from my professors.
- I have some volunteer experience under my belt, and I currently work as a bank teller.
So far I have applied to UMASS Amherst and will be applying to Simmons. I was also going to apply to Mount Holyoke and College of the Holy Cross.
