Volunteering
I have approximately 250 hours total since 9th grade. I spend every Sunday at a local church teaching ESL to the students there (mostly immigrant adults). I also volunteered at the Assisting Individuals with Disadvantages in Taiwan, where I taught ESL at a rural school for a month. I am also part of a orchestral group that performs seasonally at senior homes.
Other
Applied and was accepted to the Texas Academy of Math and Science, a two year college prep school located at UNT where I would be taking college level classes and live on campus. However, I did not attend.
I worked for approximately 6 months at a paid job at Gideon Math and Reading center as a tutor.
Thank you to all who read through all of this! My biggest concern is that I am a vastly over represented minority. All criticism and help is accepted!
