Please help, I made a grave mistake on my already submitted activities list for a college

When I wrote my activities list in the beginning of the school year I said I am doing brain research on neurodegenerative disorders, but i actually changed my topic later to psychiatric disorders. I forgot to replace neurodegenerative with psychiatric on my activities list and in my supplemental essay i discussed my research on psychiatric disorders so it is inconsistent with my activities. Now I am afraid that the admission officers will think that I am lying and I will be rejected.

PLS HELP. what should i do??? should I email the admissions officers explaining the situation?

Neurodegenerative is a subset of psychiatric. The two sections are not inconsistent. You’re fine. Don’t stress. Don’t email the admissions officer.
