UC-Berkeley(reach)
Cal State- Fullerton and Long Beach(safety)
UC- Los Angeles(match)
UC- Santa Barbara(safety)
UC- Davis(safety)

Philadelphia University

In response to the post from XtremePower: Neither UCLA nor UC Berkeley can be considered safeties, even for California residents They are high reach for most students, and reach for a relatively small number.

UC Davis is one notch lower in terms of selectivity than UCLA and UC Berkeley. That said it is quite selective, and a reach for most applicants.

Summre, you don’t provide enough information regarding your residence status. If you are not considered a California resident from the perspective of UC admissions then all the UCs should be considered reach or higher.

I am not a California resident. However, many of the UCs are actually easier to get in for internationals, judging from many of my friends who get in most UCs without a superb application (UCD,UCI,UCSB…but not UCB or UCLA). UCB and UCLA do not lower their standard for int’l, though.

thx for your suggestion, XtremePower
By any chance, do you know some out-of-state universities that would fit me? (out-of-state does not even matter because I am not a U.S citizen…)
