<p>Academics:
GPA: 3.75 UW, 3.83W, 3.6(Umich)
Rank: Top 18%, but I might be in top 15%
SAT I: 550 Verbal/660 Math/640 Writing (I didn't do much studying, but I am projecting around 600-650 verbal, 750 math, 700 Writing in October)
SAT II: Math Level 2- 680(Will take again and will take Physics also in November)</p>

<p>Course Load: Have taken 1 AP(AP Calculus AB) which I got a 5 on the exam and 1 honors so far. </p>

<p>Extracurricular Activities:
Clubs(All 9-12)- FBLA, Chess Club(Vice President), Investment Club, National Honor Society, Italian Club, Boy Scouts(since 11 years old).
Sports(All 9-12)- Cross Country, Track
Work- Summer going into 11th and again this summer.</p>

<p>I want to major something in business. It will probably be a double major in finance and marketing. Please tell me my chances for getting in the business school if they allow it freshman year(ex: Stern).
I hope I have the right balance of Safeties, Reaches, and Matches. I am going all out studying for the SATs(want 1400 combined Math/Verbal) and hoping that my mid-year report can help me out in getting me in.</p>

<p>Thanks guys I really appreciate all the help! I heard so many great things about this site. Any other info you guys need let me know and I'll post it. Tell me where I am now and where I would be if I improved where I want to be in the SATs. Also tell me anything else I can do to improve my chances.</p>

Illinois - Reach
NYU - Reach
UMDCP - Match
Babson - Match
Penn State - Safety
Ohio State - Safety
Rutgers - Safety</p>

<p>It looks like you have a good balance as long as you want to go to any of those schools. Don't just apply to safeties for the sake of having them.</p>

<p>My stats were like yours...I had a ~3.66 Mich GPA, lower rank (top 25%), 1330 (710m/620v), 690/630/540. I sent in my application on valentines day, which was VERY late (after recommended deadline), but somehow I got into college of engineering. If theres one thing you must do...that is to raise your SAT scores. Make sure you apply to your rolling admission schools ASAP. If you can get your SAT over 1900 then your chances at Michigan will be much better.</p>
