Please help me where to apply to!!

Hey I am currently a senior in high school and looking at which colleges to apply to.

GPA - 3.95 (incl. german I and II, and Computer science cc classes, not sure if health and business 1 count???)
I got an 1880 on my sat;s, and just took the act.
Subject tests: German w/ listening= 780
US History= 630

I will have taken 3 AP's and one honors class once graduated.

I am also taking the SAT again in october.

Some ec's are:
Tech Crew: 3 years
National Honors Society: 2 years
California Scholastic Federation: 2.5 years
Operation Smile: 2 years

I have also completed 250 hours civil service and a 2 week internship on a boat.

I am also part of the National Honors Society of 2 year colleges because i have taken some college classes

I am interested in a school with a pretty good business or finance or economics program, preferably in New York or Los Angeles(+) but it would be ok to go to another city. I dunno if this makes a differences but though i should at least mention it my dad has a couple of oscar nominations and won one last year and was wondering if that would help me get into USC (strong film program, and not trying to show off or anything if it came of like that just thought i should mention it since it is something that stands out)

This is my list so far:
University of California Berkley
University of California Los Angeles
University of California Santa Barbara
University of Califonia Santa Cruz
Chapman University
New York University
Loyola Marymount University

Cal Lutheran
University of San Diego
USC
University of Colorado at Boulder
Boston College
Boston University
Fordham
Stanford
Emory
Santa Clara University

What do u think would be a good fit for me? Does not have to be on the list.

Unless your dad has direct connections, that won't matter in the slightest.

k thank you! oh and i looked at their site about the essay and stuff and i guess it would help to put that in there because they want student with different experiences and I went to the oscars a couple of times, or is that not too grea to talk about? But what do u guys think would be a good fit for me>

bump..... anyone else?

I mean, it's cool, and I'd love to go too, someday, but that's just about as clich

thanks, I am actually not interested in the film school at all, just USC lol, but I mean thats just one of many. I was just wondering bout other possible good fits for me.

Thanks!

Well if you're not interested, then it would be a terrible decision to go there...

I know california can be particularly competitive. You could try oregon or washington. U of O or maybe UW. Those have some decent business programs. You hit most of the more well known business school in california. (there arent too many) But I think Santa clara, UC berk, and UC SC would be a good match for you. If you're from cali, it would help a little bit to get into the UCs.

not actually trying to go to usc film school just usc, not trying to go to usc fil school lol.

Thanks, i think uc berk would be a long shot, what are some good business schools in New York>?

what are some good business schools in New York>?

Well as an undergrad, your choices are limited to NYU Stern if you want a "good" business school.

If you're ever in the NYC area and want to pick up an MBA, then you could go to NYU Stern or Columbia Business School (alas, CBS has no undergrad program)

it might be a bit of a reach but georgetown would be a good fit for you

UC Boulder is a good school but the inside word: the drug/booze loop there is CRAZY. my teetotaler friend became a partier within a month, just to get into the social scene.
