I never was much of a fan of the toothpaste brand. You can't go wrong with either one. Tufts is far less secluded though, and larger. Colgate remains more of a regional prestigious institution; Tufts is (steadily) branching out to the national level from its once liberal arts standing.

thanks snuffles...you're a student at Tufts now?

Graduating senior~! I'm a bio major.

Tufts is better academically and location-wise

Although I am biased, Tufts has considerably better notoriety (nationally prestigious).

If you're looking for prestige, there are easier schools to get into that are much more "prestigious" on a national level than Tufts and Colgate.

Visit both schools, and choose the one you like more.

^ ^ What are you talking about? This person already got into both these schools. Are you suggesting waiting to get into easier schools next year?

If prestige is a factor it's a no brainer, buddy -- Tufts. That shouldn't be your be-all-end-all though. Though I think that if you were to consider the opportuntities Tufts gives you vs. the ones Colgate would, you would still pick Tufts.

No... I was inferring that the OP probably didn't care much about national prestige, or she(?) wouldn't have applied to or decide between small liberal arts-type schools.
