Please help me!

Two of my supplements exceeds 1000 characters… is there anything I can do, aside from shortening it??

IT’S DUE TOMORROW, AND I’M TOTALLY FREAKING OUT!!!

Save it in a word document and upload it. I'm assuming you're on the common app website, right?

yes, i am. that's what i did, but do i need to double space my work??

Upload them, you shouldn't need to shorten them if you upload them. You don't need to double space...

You definitely shouldn't need to shorten them if you upload them. I have one that I uploaded that's 1100 characters, and it's working well. I double spaced my essay because I think it's easier to read that way, but I didn't double space the supplements. I think it's more of a personal preference whether or not to double space.

Hi, what's the financial aid address??

i double spaced mine, and mine were a little over 1000. i uploaded (i personally think that's the way to go since they have to print it out, anyways). don't worry about it! everything will be fine!

Thank you!!
I sent in everything, but i forgot to make sure each page has my name on it...is it so terrible?! i'm really worried!

Sweetie, if you already sent it in, what can you do about it now? It's probably fine...putting your name on every page is needed in case things get dropped and separated or something. But forgetting to do that is not something that, in and of itself, will cause your application to be looked down upon.

Okay, thank you.
Would it be quite annoying if I emailed the admissions staff?

probably, just because they put all of your stuff together. they just ask you to put your name on in in the event that things get separated, but it's not likely. inhale, exhale, and stop worrying :)

PS i'm willing to bet some money that you're not the only applicant who forgot to put her name on each page.

oops, i already emailed them in panic.
i hope it merely conveys my passion for the school?
haha...acting on instincts...

If you get rejected because you contacted the admission's office to let them know that you know that you forgot to put your name on top of the documents...well, that'll be a first, I'm sure. Don't worry :p

I'm sure it's not a big deal (the common app stamps your name and common app #ID number onto the page anyway). Plus the chance of your stuff getting separated is pretty low...

Thank you guys, I feel much better now.
