Please help. Rescinded?

<p>So I applied to UCSC, and before application decisions were out I had sent them an email explaining about my D first semester in AP Calculus. Though I sent it to <a href="mailto:admissions@ucsc.edu">admissions@ucsc.edu</a>, I never got a response. When decisions came out, i was waitlisted. Last night, I was accepted off of the waitlist however, I'm worried that 1) I can't get a C in Calculus this semester because I just failed my final -_- and 2)if I do get a C that they will see my previous D, and rescind me because for some reason they did not see the email I sent them at the end of February/beginning of March. </p>

<p>Should I still accept my place of the waitlist or...?</p>

<p>They would’ve seen the D no matter what since you send final official transcripts before you attend. I suggest you call them and try to explain everything, emailing is an iffy form of communication especially since they’re swamped. Maybe try to beg your teacher for a C- or something. If the deadline isn’t tomorrow then you should wait until you call them to not waste the SIR money.</p>

<p>Can you get a tutor - this might help your grade in Calc. Maybe you can try to contact the school to see if they had received your first email also.</p>
