Region: Mid west

Scores are great but other aspects are lacking. EC's specifically, the class rank may be detrimental as well. But, as is so commonly said, its a crap shoot. If its your dream school, no reason not to try your luck.

Your scores are good, as are your ECs. Write good essays, and you should have a good shot at it.

Btw, there is nothing urgent about your post. Our opinions do not affect your chances one way or the other ;)...

Is your class rank weighted?

Nothing stands out to me in your extracurriculars. I hope that one or more of them were very valuable to you (i.e. you enjoyed them very much, committed to them, contributed to them, learned and matured). If this is the case, that it extremely important to include in your essays. It's crucial to show what your passions are and what kind of person you are - not just what you did.

Speech and Debate and Community Service club really changed me- speech and debate moreso. Yes, my class rank is weighted.

Being a debater at that level does stand out. It is also extremely time-consuming (which everybody knows).
TASP and USAMO are both very selective, and thus very impressive.

Hey, I did SNFI a few years ago- I was AdSem. Perhaps we know each other? I'm Teddy.

Tetra- name doesn't sound familiar :(
Nng-So, do I stand a chance then?

I think so. Write good essays, and hope for the best.

Agree with nngmm,

TASP and USAMO Very impressive! Also Stanford debate camp... Great test scores, and freshman grades don't count. Good luck

pretty good ;]
the EC is a wee bit lacking
otherwise other stuff good. actually idk about the weighted gpa. i think you took about the same kinds of classes as me and got about same scores...well stanford re-calcs gpa without frosh year and mine is like 4.4-4.5ish
erm well pretty good chance! gluck! hopefully we'll both get in haha
