IM PANICKING! HELP!
I just checked my app, and noticed I self reported my ap scores incorrectly.
I reported I took psych in may 2020, instead of 2021
I also said I took stat in may 2021, instead of 2022
I have already been accepted to 2 schools, WILL I GET RESCINDED FOR REPORTING IT INCORRECTLY? It was totally an accident.
How to I go about contacting each school? Im shaking.
You’ll be fine. The date is pretty irrelevant. Presumably, you couldn’t have provided an actual score for Stats. The test dates likely line up will the course dates, so they might have already figured it out.
Email them with a correction.

Please don’t panic! You may not realize this but a number of students make mistakes on their apps, so please wait on your panic mode until you contact the schools.
You can send an email to each school, so that you have written documentation that you are correcting your mistake.
Contact each school, by phone, they are out now for the holiday, and will be very busy at the beginning of the year, but as long as you send the email to admissions, you have a back up.
Now, as long as you passed the classes and the grades have been reported, you should be okay. They will probably will not even think about the dates yet and rescinding.
- Just make a list of the schools, with the phone number you called.
- Check off each school as you call them, and write down the name of the person you spoke to. Ask them for their email.
- Record the date.
- Make sure you follow up with an email to those staff members to confirm that they made the changes.
Good luck!
Calm down. Breathe.
