My guidance counselor informed me last week that he sent the wrong transcripts to every single one of my schools. All of the deadlines for my schools were in December or early January, so I am quite concerned. The transcripts he sent out to my colleges said I took the same classes my sophomore and freshman years and took sophomore classes my junior years. At my school we aren't allowed to take APs until my junior year, so basically, half of my APs are missing, and many of my core science and math classes are, too. He notified all the schools, but the admissions processes are already in motion, and I am afraid they will not consider me for scholarship money or even admission because of how screwed up my file is. I called all the schools, and while some them have replaced my incorrect transcripts with correct ones my guidance counselor sent, others are saying they will "figure out the error as they go." I am really, really upset. This mistake has already made me receive a deferral from one of my top choices because of the credits that were missing.

I don't know what to do, and I feel really screwed over and sad. Has this happened to anyone else? I think I am going to go cry now.

Oh, and on a lighter note, despite my screwed up transcripts, Towson University (my safety school) accepted me with almost a full scholarship. I can really tell they dug deep into my file. /sarcasm
