<p>From a short scheduled update, it has become a temporary technical issue. Who else is kind of freaked out right now?</p>
<p>In the past, when the website has gone down near the submission deadline, MIT has extended the deadline by a few days.</p>
<p>You'll be able to submit your application at some point, I promise. You won't be penalized for technical issues that aren't your fault.</p>
