Please Help

Ok...I applied to be housed at HILC (Holland Int'l Living Cener).
When I checked my housing assignment, it shows Jameson Hall with some address (atleast I got a single...phew!)

The online info on Jameson Hall doesn't say much about it.

So, here are my questions:

1.) Is this some mistake cuz HILC is a program house and ur supposed to get a program house u ask for ( I DIDN'T EVEN APPLY TO JAMESON)

2.) How is Jameson?

Arjun,

Sorry you didn't get your first choice HILC, but it is not a mistake... you "applied" for it, which doesn't guarantee you will get in. However, don't fret because if you are interested in HILC programming you can join as an "outside" member. Applications from all students, including International were up significantly this year and I imagine the demand for HILC exceeded the availability. Count your blessings that you got a single. North Campus is going to be crowded this year since Cornell's yield was especially high.

This is from the HILC website, you just have to download the application.

you are right next to donlon, dickson, and most importantly: NASTIES. there will be wonderful grease food, and healthful food, available next door at Bear Necessitiers (better known as bear nasties or just nasties) until 2 or 3 am every night. nasties is in RPCC, which is a student center. they have study rooms, billiards, your mail, a piano, a dining hall, the works.

plus you have a single, which is great.

a lot of my friends lived in jameson, and they had a great time... as did i whenever i visited! :)

Thanks for the replies Tahoe, Saprticus and ceruleanyankee.

what rm # are you

3rd Floor, 5th Suite, 2nd Room (1352).

Btw, Can we change from a single to a double...just curious?

Question:
How quite/noisy is Jameson Hall? How social is it?
