<p>Does this mean they require the subject tests or that if you take them they use them for placement but you don’t have to take them? Thanks</p>

<p>Only UC requires subject tests.</p>

<p>i think it IS beneficial if you take like math or english subject tests.
i wouldn't spend the time and money on it though unless you are applying to say, a business or arch major? even then it's not really necessary.
no one ever asked for my subject tests (i took physics and us history) and cal poly asks that you don't send anything to them, unless otherwise requested.</p>
