I will/have applied to:

University of Georgia
Georgia Institute of Technology (deferred)
UNC
Clemson University
Vanderbilt

You have excellent ECs, but not so good SATs…

University of Georgia - in
Georgia Institute of Technology - low-reach to match
UNC - don’t know
Clemson - don’t know
Vanderbilt - mid- to low- reach
Emory - you’d definitely be in if your SATs were a little higher, but with those scores, it’s a reach.

University of Georgia - in
Georgia Institute of Technology - in
UNC - most likely in
Clemson - in
Vanderbilt -low reach
Emory - if you can bump it up to a 2100+ i think you’ll be fine (same as vandy)

UGA- safey
GT- safety
UNC- reach because youre OOS and your testing isn’t the best
Clemenson- safety
Vandy- reach (you lack significant ECs that would make you a shoo in)
Emory- see vandy

Unfortunately, I don’t plan on taking the SAT anymore; I’ve already taken in 6 times! My parents had me start sophomore year -.- very dumb I know.

However, would you recommend me take the MathII subject test? Would it help much?

Ok, I chanced you back. Ah I see…I think I might be able to pull off an 800 on the MathII, but I don’t think i’d do well on the others <_> lol ■■■, i’m very math oriented.

Vandy and Emory are reaches with Vandy being a high reach and Emory being a low to mid reach. UNC is next to impossible for out of state students. GT is a match to low reach since you have been deferred already. I would have thought GT would have been a shoe in. Good luck

Thanks. Yeah I was surprised I didn’t get in in early for tech, but a lot of students with similar and some with higher stats got deferred…I’ll find out in March sweat
