Please read!! Recommendations: Common App-teacher, NYU website-teacher or counselor

So for personal recommendations.
on the Common App it says there should be one teacher evaluation,
but on the NYU undergrad admission site there is a form that says
High School Report/Counselor Recommendation form.

what does this mean?
that you are supposed to have one teacher rec and one counselor rec?
or one teacher or counselor rec?

PLEASE ANSWER!! Urgent!

You need one teacher and one counselor. There is a different form for each.

Yes, it's two separate forms. You can get them on the Common App Web site.

well the teacher recommendation is the letter from one of the teachers who have taught you; whereas, the counselor recommendation can be a letter from your guidance counselor or your college adviser.
Good Luck!!!

I just called the admissions office and they told me they need 2 teacher recommendations and 1 counselor. However, it was a student and she might be incorrect.

i would bet a million and a half dollars that you only need the counselor rec and the teacher rec.

Yeah she's wrong, only 1 teacher recommendation is required, but you can send in two if you want I guess. They don't want too many though, too much paperwork for them.
