Please respond: St. John's or fordham

Hey I am coming from California and I have pretty much narrowed down my choices to Fordham and St. John's. I recently went on an overnight visit to St. John's and really enjoyed my time there. It has a lot of positives, one being that it has my desired major of sports management, it is in a good location, has good basketball program (i'm a big sports fan), and solid academics. Fordham, I realize has a better academic reputation, but doesn't have a sports management major. I was accepted into the business program. I spent about ten days this past year at Fordham's campus in the dorms at a summer program and enjoyed my stay there as well, but didn't really get a sense of what it is like during the school year because there were no students on campus at the time. I believe it is in a better location than St. John's because there is more to do around campus and is closer to Manhatten. St. John's is in a residential area and there isn't much to do in the surrounding city.

Somebody please help me to decide. Tell me what you think. Any opinions are appreciated.

Maybe you can go to Fordham for undergrad and then do grad school for something closer to your desire. (fordham is really good for business btw)

Also, you will be dorming… I think a higher percent of Fordham will be kids dorming since a lot of St johns kids commute

I would say Fordham

I’m not sure what to do because my dream job is to be an nba general manager and I don’t know which major would help me to ultimately achieve that goal.

i would say fordham

which school do you think would be more fun to go to and which one would you go to for internships, etc.?
