I apologize if this has been asked before, but does the general Brown Admissions committee read the PLME essays and vice versa (PLME admissions read the general Brown essay questions)?
There are some key ideas about my interests I talk about in my general Brown essays, and I am unsure if I should repeat them in my PLME essays or just assume that the PLME admissions committee already knows about them from my other essays.

From what I know, the Brown admissions committee can read PLME essays, but won’t use them heavily. PLME admissions committee (only activated if you’re accepted to Brown) sees everything.

Yes, Undergrad Admissions does read the PLME supplements. There is a 23 minute video on YouTube that was done by Brown Admissions Officers (titled “Hangout On Air with Brown University Admissions Officers: ‘What Happens After You Press Submit’”) and that question was specifically asked and they said yes, they do read them. And yes, PLME also reads everything.
