Plme?

Hi I was just wondering if anyone knows whether it is common for international students to be admitted onto the PLME programme?

60 people get in out of everybody that apply.

hey, I’m also an international student who wants to apply for PLME program.
I’ve heard it is really difficult to get in, not just for the international students but also for Americans as well. I think they admit like 5-6% each year, and imagine most of them being well qualified students… So It’s HARD…
I know that PLME does not have a lot of international students and considering that it’s even hard for Americans, it would be harder for international students as well… But, if you think you are well qualified for the program, go for it, cuz you’d never know how strong the applicants will be this year. Also, what country are you from? That matters alot in my opinion… if you are from any asian countries, like China, Korea, Japan, or India, it might be more hard for you

Thanks for the responses guys! Smileelv: thanks for the advice as well  I’m from the UK and would also be needing a substantial amount of financial aid - so I’m thinking perhaps it’s not the best idea as it isn’t need-blind after all. I was accepted to 3/4 medical schools over here in the UK (which I deferred) but just trying to look into every route!!

Whereabouts are you from? Does applying to PLME and ticking the ‘still willing to be put on another course’ option box still give you the same chance as any other normal RD applicant do you think?
