Pls help.. College Board Profile and Idoc questions...

I am getting set to fill out the CB Profile for my high school senior and at least some of the schools use IDOC-- with which I'm unfamiliar. I'm a little scared of this process and am more than willing to estimate low if I don't have documentation. Some questions:
* Other than tax returns, what info might I need to verify? Will they ask for bank statements, mortgage statements, etc.?
* My oldest (not the high school senior) is attending college overseas this year. Her tuition is cheap; most expenses are living expenses. She is applying to transfer to a 4-year college next year. What sort of documentation might I need to provide for her? I don't care if they don't consider her college expenses for this year (2007-2008) but I can't provide the name of her college for next year. She only worked a work-study. Do I need to provide her tax return for her sister's financial aid?
* We have no contact with her noncustodial father and he does not pay support. There was abuse and I have a 10-year-old order for over $17K in back child support-- but he would owe me even more now. How do I prove he doesn't pay? Would the court order be enough? Should I ask an attorney for a letter?

I've only needed to provide tax return forms and W-2 forms to IDOC, no bank statements (I don't hold a mortgage, so cannot speak to that).

Of course I believe that every school requests different things, so perhaps your school can give you more detail.

For the non-custodial form, YES ask your attorney to provide a letter, which you would then ask the school for a non-custodial form waiver, and submit it with the letter.

Always make copies, as these will be used time and again.

Best to you.
