[plz HELP] Applied before?!?!

I'm going to be a senior and I was just wondering if I should apply to Harvard or not. If I don't get in, I'm going to transfer. But the thing is on transfer app., you have to write how many times you've applied to Harvard. Does it look bad if I say I was rejected as a freshman? Because if it does, I don't think I want to apply this year, but just aim for transfer. Please help me!! Thank you.

I think that if they see you already applied once to Harvard, they will know you have genuine interest in attending and it may help you.

don't you read the threads man?
the man with the thread called harvard transfer stats applied to harvard 3 times, and got in the 3rd time, so...

Post-Hoc Fallacy.

Don't you guys know? If you apply to a school (any school HPY etc) 5 times you are automatically accepted. So apply freshmen year through 1st year transfer and your golden. K thanks bye.

:D

oh, sry.. i guess i couldn't remember the thread.. well, thank you everyone for the reply!

is that actually true?
applying 5 times gets you in?
i find that hard to belive.

well...if it is....just apply once through your senior year and then apply 4 times more while you are at another school. I am pretty sure that HYP etc will eventually consider your application worthy since you stayed at a CC for 4 years and wasting your time with HYP.

you can't apply 5 times.....3s the max.......unless you're including grad school......HPY and 95% of other schools only allow you to transfer in as a 2nd or 3rd year

That is incorrect; there are universities - of which Harvard recently altered their policy - which merely require students to complete two years at the institution to which they are applying.
