Hey, jst frgt to add abt work experience.
I worked with HCL India For A Project as a trainee

are you applying for aid?

yes, i’m applying but it’s not a priority

doesn’t matter if its a priority, if you apply for aid as an international, your chances automatically go down

I think your SAT is a little too low for Berkeley, but the other three you should be fine.

Could I get merit-based aid?

come on ppl,
ne1?
am in urgent need of help…

Berkeley - Dream ( = dont rely on admission)
UIUC - Match ( = really strong chance to get in)
Purdue - Backup ( = 100% ur getting in)
Syracuse - Match-Backup

dnno if you can do anything now… but if ur bank account has 60000 dollars or more… then dont go for need-based… but definitely go for merit based always helps if you smart…
now chance me!

Thanks

why do u guys all apply to the same places ?? u guys should try out liberal arts colleges. ull learn waaaay moe there than big universities. go to universities to get a “prestigious degree” for ur postgrad… undergrad is to enjoy 4 years of learning and exploring… whatis wrong with u ppl ?

@cr_freak- priorities? perspectives? passions?

oh yeah coz a guy with a “passion” for engineering will goto syracuse university, or if ull go through the thread… harvard ! for engineering ! seriously. thats not passion. its using engineering as a means to get a job. and what priorities ? prestige and a job over true learning ? thats what im saying has to stop. im not saying dont go to a university. but every singly person applies to ucb just because its “ranked high” rankings are insignificant if u have passion. ull go to the place where ull learn best and this is not a place with 500 ppl sharing a physics lecture.

@cr_freak- for harvard engineering- priorities? perspectives? passions?
i beg for your forgiveness :)

gary, i cannot understand a word of wht you are saying. enunciate (virtually).
