I miss it all, man. So many ****ing adventures I had.

Going into Lapras' cave
Safari Zone
Bug Catching Competitions
Exploring the abandoned ships in Sapphire
Dungeon fights with Team Rocket in Silver
Pokemon Beauty Contests in Sapphire
Lottery
Riding my bike

I miss it all, man. I wish it were 2002/2003 again.

Share your stories, HSL

Have you guys heard of that thing about the music in lavender town making kids go crazy?

You’re making me nostalgic ;_;

I drew this picture of Tropius[/url”>http://es.■■■■■■■.com/r/14ln6mu/3]Tropius just now. Tropius is my favorite pokemon!!

Competitive battling, Do it.

GSC was the best, followed by RBY

This year, I went to a state competition for a club. One of my friends got out an old Gameboy Color with a pokemon game. We all took turns playing the game (including a bunch of seniors).

I had Red, Yellow, Gold, (maybe Silver, I think I lost it,) Ruby, and Sapphire. Still, Red is my favorite, nothing’s better than the original. I remember the how popular that game was, and how sad people were at my elementary school when they banned Game Boys. For a five year old, that’s the death penalty there for something that was so important to your life.

I was categorically opposed to Pokemon as a child. Now I have to miss out on all of the nostalgia :(.

I felt it too. Then I got Platinum and HeartGold. Then I learned what EV’s and natures are. Now I don’t play that much because trying to get a Modest Lapras is HELL. I had 2 boxes full of them from breeding before finally getting one (even though they **** like rabbits). ><

I played Red, Blue, Yellow, and Silver, and after awhile I just lost interest and dropped it altogether. Now I don’t even recognize half of the pokemon in existence.

I never got to play Pokemon when I was younger because:

1. We were too broke to buy a t.v., and

I couldn’t afford to buy the games.

I was forbidden from going to other people’s houses, so watching tv elsewhere or borrowing someone’s game was out of the question.

I’m glad I’m not that young anymore.

GSC were MASSIVE. Two regions, all sorts of cool little things in each region, etc.

^ yeah plus beating ub3r Red was awesome. It was hard the first time, but the following times though it was a piece of cake. Except for Snorlax.

Man… I remember the order of Pokemon games I got specifically.

5th birthday, it all started with yellow. I lost that game, But I love it. I remember getting my ass handed to me by Brock, then realizing let me get a caterpie and train that thing to kick ass.

7th birthday, got Silver. Months Later, got gold.

Months Later… got Crystal.

First year in Hawaii, lose Crystal. Buy again.

Ruby and Sapphire come out. 2nd week, Pay 52.06 for both.
Love these games.

2004, ***** to my parents to get Firered and Leafgreen, these were some epic remakes.

2005, Emerald. Beat the Battle Frontier with all gold symbols.

Use my AR to break my original SP. Then hate the AR.

I also bought the gamecube games, which weren’t as fun.

At this time, I got into Spinoffs. Trozei was a failure. It sucked.

The Dungeon games and ranger were amazing.

Then I got Diamond and Pearl. ■■■■. So good, but nothing like GSC.

Then PBR, just a storage box for pokemon. Nothing beats Pokemon Stadium.

Then platinum, I love this ****ing game.

Then more dungeon games, I got the sequels and both are the ****.

Then Soulsilver. By far, the best remake for pokemon, ever.

Didn’t get the next dungeon games, got the 2nd ranger, but now I need to prepare for Black and White.

Recommendations of what I should ask for for a birthday gift?

I never played the games as a child. I watched the shows/movies, owned the stuffed “animals”, and traded the cards in elementary school.

I played Pearl the summer after the 8th grade.

the trading card game was the shieet

it was the only other card game I played other than Magic the Gathering. Yugioh sucked ballz.

I’m a pokemon addict.
The cards are the ****, the show has gone down. I miss Veronica Taylor’s voice.

^um, wow…

I had sapphire and emerald and i LOVED them! i also watched the show. oh god now i’m getting all nostalgic :')
i think i might go out and get an sp to replace my old one that died

^ I still have my SP! [:

I gave up my allowance for months to get Blue. My mom thought the Game Boy itself was a waste of time, so I had to pay for all the games myself. I got Silver and Crystal as gifts though, but not before I beat a bootleg version of Gold (which is an amazing feat because it wasn’t even in real English). A couple of years later I got Sapphire, then LeafGreen. And I don’t have a NDS, so no other games for me D:

None of my friends were into the TCG, so I have 3987192 cards and never really played with anyone. And as for the TV show…I don’t think I watched anything after the Johto series. I don’t even know.
