It looks like there about 25 different classes
each year. Is it an exciting major? Lots
of talk about races, new legislation?
Any local campaigning?

Much thanks,
Ottoline

You missed a great time here during the 2004 elections, I'm sure you've read about it.

I think political science is one of the stronger majors Kenyon offers, though I can't say much more.

there is talk about campaigning and legislation and some students do get involved in local politics. That being said, dont expect that the focus will be on every aspect of lobbying or the legislative process. the kenyon poli sci department focuses mainly on theory, the nuts and bolts stuff comes at higher levels. if you major in poli sci, its pretty certain that youve had at least 4 classes in political theory.
