Hello All--
I am entering my sophomore year as political science major at a top 150 state-related university. I have recently put a lot of thought into what I wanted to do professionally. After days of thought and rigorous research I came to the conclusion that although I would love to be a lawmaker one day, It would behoove me to become a political consultant before I put my hat into the Political "ring of fire". As I looked into jobs in political consulting, I became fascinated with media consulting...and the idea that I can help shape a given candidates perception via press releases, ads, and speeches.

Would any of you recommend a Strategic Communication major with a political science minor/major or should I just stick with political science?
